The centre does not simply rely on the word of manufacturers or promotional information to advise on footwear. Instead, we undertake our own sophisticated investigations to assess footwear. Computerised gait analysis is invaluable in understanding the function of shoes and how they influence gait. We regularly test many types of shoe and make specific recommendations for our patients.
Footwear services include:

1. Customisation service to address many types of mechanical imbalance such as a leg length difference.
2. Advice on sports shoes including specific information on models of shoe which are most appropriate for patients.
